 Here are the lyrics to a song I wrote today.

Verse 1:

Do you ever think about leaving

I was 6 months old, I didn’t know no different

Truth is, I didn’t think about it much before I became a Mom

But now it’s there in the back of my mind, thinking how you did me wrong

Cause I’m a mom now, and my family is my world yes I am grown now, and I’m happy have ya heard

Married a good man, am a good friend, and my babies are the best love that I’ve known.

I’ve traveled some, I’ve learned a lot and I’ve had real fun.

Learned to play that guitar you sent me,

It’s been put to good use, oh yeah trust me.

I’ve got a book full of poems that I wrote of love and loss and life 

I built it up throughout my 20s and it’s all turned out alright.

You have to face the mistakes you’ve made before you can move on 

I didn’t think I’d ever really write it,

But feels good to sing this song.
